Clearinghouse
Through our local Clearinghouse, Love INC helps to assist our neighbors in need to access or receive a particular need. There are many agencies and programs available in the area to assist people through difficult times and we strive to connect those in need with them. We receive more than 1000 requests per year!
Love INC also identifies gaps in services and resources in the community, and helps churches develop ministries to "fill in the gaps" not being met by local non-profit agencies or the government. These 'Gap Ministries' constantly grow and evolve as needs become known and as resources are made available. Most Love INC networks include a wide array of Gap Ministries. Our current Gap Ministries include furniture, clothing, medical equipment, household goods, blankets, laundry cards, firewood, sleeping bags and some direct assistance. Love INC screens and refers verified needs through its Clearinghouse to a specific Gap Ministry.
Sharing God’s love is at the core of every Love INC ministry. We at Love INC enjoy being part of helping the churches meet the basic needs of families in our community. We feel very blessed to join with area churches in this effort. To Jesus Christ be all the glory!

How Does It Work?
Individuals can call our clearinghouse at 360-462-LOVE (5683) or visit us at 109 S 2nd Street, Shelton, WA 98584.
Note: The office is open Tu-Th 10am-3pm
Trained office staff or volunteers will ask a variety of questions to assess need and identify potential resources.
Please Note: Some requests may be declined because they cannot be verified, are outside our mission, do not meet our criteria, or because of inadequate resources or funds. We will, however, respond to each request with compassion and dignity.
