Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC) began in 1977.It began as, and still is, a group of Christian churches coming together to minister to the community. Each affiliate (or local office) acts as a clearinghouse for these churches, focusing on the shared conviction that we are called to reach out to local neighbors in need.Theology and doctrine are not the issues.Denominational practices don’t matter.Political or social agendas take a back seat.Jesus Christ is the glue that binds us all together with a singleness of purpose – to help others. By working together in a coordinated way, we can actively demonstrate Love In the Name of Christ.
Jesus Christ- His care and compassion for the needy and his insistence that Christians must attend to them inspire us to reach out to the needy among us.
Love in the Name of Christ’s mission is to mobilize local churches to transform lives and communities in the Name of Christ.

Our Statement of Faith
We believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. We believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic ('universal') Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. (–The Apostle's Creed)
